Computer Vision and AI Engineer

Ever seen your code pull weeds?

Here, you will. At Track32, the models you build don’t end up in a slide deck. They run on weeding machines in the field, on drones flying through greenhouses, and in the hands of growers who use them every single day.

We are a small, independent AI and computer vision team, born at Wageningen University. We work with farmers, machine builders, universities and research institutes, and we love a good technical challenge. Right now we are looking for a new teammate to build it with us.

Your playground

• Object detection and tracking, instance segmentation, 3D vision and spectral imaging
• Images from drones, satellites, smartphones, camera rigs, vehicles and even microscopes
• Signal and tabular data, and clever combinations of all of the above
• Taking a model from first idea to a working product, in the cloud or on a machine in the field
• Freedom to test new technologies and make them work

Every project or product is different, and that is exactly the fun of it.

You might be our person if you

• have experience with machine learning and deep learning, ideally in computer vision,
• write Python with ease and know your way around PyTorch and OpenCV,
• use AI assistance to be more productive,
• love turning messy data into insights people can act on,
• have a degree in AI, Computer Science, or a related field, or learned it the hard way through experience,
• have 2+ years of experience (or a fresh graduate with great projects to show)

Bonus points for: C++, signal analysis, tabular data AI, and curiosity about agriculture and sustainability. You don’t need to know a tractor from a combine. You just need to want to learn.
