Role Overview
The role focuses on developing and enhancing simulation models to support critical airline planning and operational decision-making. The candidate will work with data scientists, software engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders to develop analytical solutions and improve operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance simulation models supporting airline planning.
- Apply Monte Carlo Simulation and optimization techniques.
- Develop analytical solutions using Python and Discrete Event Simulation frameworks.
- Perform data analysis, processing, and visualization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to business stakeholders.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the ALIGN simulation platform.
Must-Have Skills
- Strong Python experience.
- SimPy / Discrete Event Simulation.
- Monte Carlo Simulation knowledge.
- Optimization algorithms and heuristic approaches.
- Data Science and analytical skills.
- Simulation modelling experience.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management.
Good to Have
- Airline Operations / Planning / Scheduling experience.
- Operations Research or Industrial Engineering background.
- Agile/Scrum experience.
