About The Role As a Full Stack Developer at Zonneplan, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining the software that powers our customer journey from initial website visit to personalized digital energy solutions. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing features that handle thousands of visitors daily and facilitate hundreds of new customer acquisitions. Working within a dynamic development team, you will utilize React and TypeScript for frontend development and Laravel and PHP for backend services. Your contributions will directly influence how users interact with our platform, ensuring a seamless, efficient, and reliable experience. The role offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects that support our mission of a sustainable energy future, with a focus on quality, performance, and scalability.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience with Laravel and PHP
• Proficiency in React and TypeScript for frontend development
• Experience in building scalable and maintainable backend architectures
• Strong understanding of writing clean, tested, and high-quality code
• Experience with unit testing and conducting code reviews
• Knowledge of or interest in AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar
• Experience working in agile teams with standups, refinements, and retrospectives
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks within sprints
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and team collaboration mindset

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement full-stack features for the entire customer journey, from website to digital quotes
• Maintain and improve the quality of the codebase through testing, code reviews, and refactoring
• Address technical debt by enhancing architecture, optimizing performance, and streamlining processes
• Ensure stable and reliable software releases, supporting deployments via GitHub Actions
• Monitor application performance using tools like Grafana and troubleshoot issues with Sentry
• Collaborate closely with product owners, stakeholders, and team members to deliver high-quality solutions
• Participate actively in agile ceremonies, providing input and feedback for continuous improvement
• Support ongoing innovation by exploring AI-assisted development and automation opportunities
