Position Overview

We're looking for friendly, energetic, and service-driven Bar Staff who thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment. You'll be responsible for delivering excellent drinks, engaging with guests, and maintaining the high standards that define The Butcher Social Club.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to a consistently high standard.
• Deliver fast, friendly, and attentive guest service.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, wine, and menu offerings.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar.
• Follow cocktail recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards.
• Process orders and payments accurately through the POS system.
• Follow responsible alcohol service, hygiene, and safety regulations.
• Assist with opening, closing, stock replenishment, and inventory control.
• Collaborate with floor and kitchen teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Contribute to a positive, professional, and energetic team environment.

What We're Looking For – Bar Staff

• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Previous hospitality experience is an advantage but not essential.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and during special events.

What We're Looking For – Head Bartender

In addition to the above, our ideal Head Bartender will demonstrate:

• Leadership: Experience supervising, motivating, and developing a bar team.
• Cocktail expertise: Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, spirits, and mixology techniques.
• Operational management: Ability to oversee daily bar operations, maintain service standards, and ensure efficient workflows.
• Stock and cost control: Experience managing inventory, ordering, wastage, and beverage costs.
• Training and development: Ability to train new team members and continuously improve the team's product knowledge and service standards.
• Commercial awareness: Understanding of upselling, revenue opportunities, and maintaining profitability.
• Problem-solving: Confidence in handling guest complaints, operational challenges, and busy services.
• Accountability: A hands-on approach, strong organizational skills, and the ability to lead by example.

Previous experience in a senior bartender or bar supervisory role is essential.

Salary & Benefits

Bar Staff – €17.90 gross per hour, inclusive of holiday allowance and accrued holiday hours. (Head Bartender position has a higher Salary)

The hourly rate consists of:

• 14.99 euro Base gross hourly wage for anyone 20 years or older.
• 8% holiday allowance (vakantiegeld).
• 10.6 % for accrued holiday hours (vakantie-uren).

The individual amounts and percentages will be specified in the employment offer to provide full transparency on how the total hourly rate is calculated.
