JOIN THE BUTCHER BURGER BAR TEAM – NEW OPENING IN AMSTERDAM!

THE BUTCHER is opening a new location on Damrak, in the heart of Amsterdam, and we're looking for enthusiastic, passionate, and energetic individuals to join our team!

We are recruiting Front of House professionals at all levels, including:

• Waiters / Waitresses
• Bartenders
• Front of House Supervisors
• Assistant Restaurant Managers
• Restaurant Managers

Whether you're an experienced hospitality professional or just starting your career, we want to hear from you!

Your Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a friendly, professional, and positive attitude.
• Deliver excellent customer service and create memorable guest experiences.
• Take orders accurately and provide menu recommendations.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high service standards.
• Handle payments and operate POS systems.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming restaurant environment.
• Work closely with kitchen and management teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Support upselling and contribute to achieving sales targets.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and company standards.
• For supervisory and management positions, lead, motivate, and develop the team while ensuring operational excellence.

What We're Looking For

• A positive attitude and passion for hospitality.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Good English communication skills are required; Dutch is a strong advantage.
• Previous hospitality experience is preferred but not essential for entry-level positions.
• Previous leadership experience is required for management positions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Strong teamwork and organisational skills.
• A hands-on mentality and willingness to learn.
