Our client, a globally recognised energy corporation with a strong international presence, is currently seeking a Strategy & Business Advisor to join their dynamic, multicultural, and multilingual team in The Hague.

Job Profile for Strategy & Business Advisor

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Perform value-added analyses and research in support of the company’s strategic objectives
• Provide input for the development of the company’s strategic direction, goals and objectives
• Advise the Managing Director and/or the company’s Management on related matters
• Identify and evaluate business opportunities for the company and the strategic advisor
• Advise and support the company's Managing Director and/or Management Team to ensure effectiveness of current business practices and make recommendations for sustainable change
• Monitor and execute organisational campaigns and change processes
• Prepare presentations and other documentation on behalf of the Managing Director as required
• Ensure the company services are compliant with the requirements of the major customers from Saudi Arabia
• Coordinate quarterly and other periodic strategic reviews and MIS meetings
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed by the Managing Director or Senior Team member
• Monitor strategy implementation and suggest improvements to reach strategic goals
• Support the implementation of new policies, services and processes
• Take on additional assignments proactively to stretch own capabilities and contribute to overall team performance levels
• Be aware of own responsibilities and encourage colleagues to be the same, while maintaining a high level of cooperation
• Communicate easily within and across teams to break down barriers and achieve team goals
• Work collaboratively with all team members to integrate individual perspectives

Candidate Profile for Strategy & Business Advisor

• Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or industry-related discipline
• Excellent strategic insight and financial acumen within a global perspective
• Understanding of the business as a system and how all of the functions interconnect
• Familiarity with the company products and services
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience, of which 2 are within the company or in affiliated companies
• Ready to generate new ideas, methods, products or solutions; acts on new ideas, assessing and testing risks
